Ansel Adams is among the few photographers in all the history of photography whose name and work enjoy worldwide recognition. His stunning landscapes and intimate still lifes of nature continue to enthrall viewers. Adams’s ability to convey the power and grandeur of nature in a black-and-white photograph is astounding. This exhibition honors the man and celebrates his genius.
Jeanne Verhulst discusses some of her favorite works in the sold-out traveling exhibition Ansel Adams: Celebration of Genius. Ms. Verhulst is the associate curator of exhibitions at George Eastman House, International Center of Photography and Film.

David Wooters opens the photo vaults for us at George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film. Mr. Wooters is the archivist of the photo collection and takes care of over 400,000 photographs within the collection. In this episode, Mr. Wooters introduces us to the birth of photography—the daguerrotype—and how the power of the medium has influenced life today.

Ghosts In the Landscape is one of the outstanding traveling exhibitions from George Eastman House.

Beginning in 1995 and visiting over a four-year period, photographer Craig J. Barber, ex-combat Marine returned to Vietnam to traverse many of his former military routes making images with an 8 x 10 pinhole camera.
